The idea for Popverse began 33 months ago, and that idea became a reality with the recruitment of our founding team - and now one of them is leaving. 

Popverse Senior Video Producer Veronica Valencia turned in her last Popverse video earlier this week, but she's not leaving us entirely. Veronica is moving over to the ReedPop Events' team and their marketing department. For those of you who come see us at conventions, you can look forward to still seeing Veronica around - and who knows, possibly collaborating with Popverse in another capacity.

Over the past two years, Veronica has helped build the video side of Popverse - on our website, on YouTube, on social channels, and even outside of that. Along the way, she moderated great panels in the US and England (including those with Chris Evans!), organized partner projects with the likes of Square Enix and McDonald's, and was a key contributor to the overall vibe that is Popverse. One of the nicknames I had for her was 'Main Stage', as in Veronica 'Main Stage' Valencia. And she'll forever have that, with me.

For those of you thinking of asking us what's next, let's not get ahead of ourselves - we'll announce that later this month. Let's celebrate all that Veronica did here from 2022 to 2024, and to where she's going next.
