Famke Janssen is ditching time travel shenanigans and cosmic entity possession (at least for one weekend) and heading to the biggest fan convention in the Northeast - New York Comic Con 2025. Along with a host of the biggest names in TV, literature, and of course, comics, Janssen will be bringing her experience from some of the biggest franchises in modern media to some of the most die-hard fans in the world - read on to find out more.

The Taken and GoldenEye star will join her fellow X-Folks James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, and Elliot Page for New York City's premiere pop culture event at the Javits Center this fall. Specifically, she'll be at the CGC x JSA Booth (#3001_ on Saturday, October 11 from 1 PM to 3 PM, and then doing photo ops at 4 PM.

Janssen's appearance at New York Comic Con 2025 marks an interesting time for the former X-Men star because, well, she might not be "former" for very much longer. Though Janssen's Jean Grey was not announced to be a part of the official X-Men cast that will be joining the MCU in 2026's Avengers: Doomsday, speculation have been swirling that her character will appear in some capacity, even going so far as to suggest that she will have a confrontation scene with a returning Elizabeth Olsen, AKA Scarlet Witch.

(Again, folks, this is just a speculation.)

At the very least odds are certainly better for her joining the MCU than former Hank McCoy Nicholas Hoult. In cas eyou haven't heard, he's got eviler fish to fry over in the new DCU.
