Wicked: For Good tie-in margaritas have people feeling Wonderful and Defying Gravity... but the hangovers are Something Bad

What is This Feeling? Too many Wicked puns in an article about Chili's? I guess No Good Deed goes unpunished, or maybe it's just that I'm Not That Girl. Shiz.

2025 has seen a couple of restaurant/movie tie-ins, but few are as Popular as...

Oof, look - I went a little too hard with the Wicked songs in the title of this piece, and now I'm regretting it. And apparently, a very similar thing is going down for folks enjoying the Wicked: For Good Margaritas over at Chili's. Released at the end of October ahead of Wicked: For Good's theatrical release, the respective pink and green specialty drinks have the internet Dancing Through Life.

(At this point, I'm not even sure if that was on purpose.)

Today recently reported on the phenomenon, which had TikTok user Kyle Thorn both claiming that "Those are the best margaritas I’ve ever had in my life," but also begging followers "don’t have seven of them."

Alright, while we at Popverse must officially maintain that seven margaritas of any variety is not a good idea, here's at least what a Chili's Wicked margarita would entail should you consider getting one:

  • First up is the Glinda-themed Good Witch Marg, which contains blanco tequila, triple sec, dragon fruit syrup, sour mix, and soda water. As you can see above, the potion is pink and includes a swizzle stick wand.
  • Then for its green-hued Elphaba sister, the Witches Brew Marg, Chili's customers can expect blanco tequila, blue curacao, granny smith apple syrup, and sour mix - all topped with a broom-and-hat swizzle stick.

To top the whole thing off, not only have the Wicked: For Good Margs gone officially viral (Thorn's post has nearly 400K views as of this writing), but they'll only cost fans $6 per marg.

Yes, $6 per marg.

I have to say, marketing a movie that's all about a misunderstood villain by doing something categorically evil itself is... well, I don't know. Offensive? Genius? Wicked?

I'm running out of puns here, clearly. Maybe a quick Good Witch will help.

Wicked: For Good stumbles into theaters November 21.

You might regret that third Witches Brew, but you won't regret catching up with Popverse's Wicked watch order.
