Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of Nickelodeon's most enduring animated shows. And this autumn, fans will be thrilled to see The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, a new animated feature film that depicts the exploits of the Gaang as adults. So, when will the Paramount+ release date for The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, also known as Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, arrive?

The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender release date will be October 9th, 2026 on Paramount+. The movie is the first production from Avatar Studios. The original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, ran from 2005 to 2008 on Nickelodeon, and was followed by a sequel series, The Legend of Korra, from 2012 to 2014. Naturally, The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender is just one of the streaming movie release dates to keep in mind in the latter half of 2026. Currently, an official trailer for Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender has yet to be released.

Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender’s cast is nothing to sneeze at. Eric Nam will star in the titular role, as the last living Air Nomad. Dave Bautista will appear as Tagah, an ancient Airbender who was frozen, while Steven Yeun will voice Fire Lord Zuko. Taika Waititi will appear as the spirit Gorillavark, while Ken Jeong will play a cabbage merchant, taking over the role from James Sie. Dee Bradley Baker will play Aang’s flying pets Appa and Momo, while Ke Huy Quan appears as Avatar Xian.

The release date for The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender on Paramount+ is October 9th, 2026.
