Here are the other new MCU villains who you might've missed in The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Warning: major spoilers for The Fantastic Four: First Steps are ahead

There is a very big villain in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. And that would be Galactus, the devourer of worlds. But there are a handful of little guys in there, too, if you know where to look.

In a "blink and you'll miss it" moment in the first act of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Pedro Pascal's Mister Fantastic says that the Puppet Master, Wizard, and Diablo are/were all active within various neighborhoods in Manhattan. I am 90% sure he said that Wizard was in Gramercy Park, specifically, but don't quote me on that.

Of course, we don't see any of those villains. In fact, we don't even venture north of Midtown Manhattan in First Steps. I faintly remember one of the villains being based somewhere in Upper Manhattan, but who knows if we'll ever actually see these villains from Earth-828 elsewhere in the MCU

These are all villains who debuted either in early issues of Jack Kirby' and Stan Lee's Fantastic Four and other contemporary series. Puppet Master first appeared in Fantastic Four #8 from 1962, whereas Wizard first popped up in Strange Tales #102 also from 1962, while Diablo was a late bloomer and didn't roll around until 1964's  Fantastic Four #30. They're all emblematic of the campiness from Silver Age Marvel Comics.

Now, I'm left wondering what these guys did when Galactus went on his rampage in Manhattan.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is in theaters now.
