Look up.

We have our first look at James Gunn's Superman, and by extension, the live-action side of the DC Universe. In what is very deliberately a teaser trailer - which means, less emphasis on a plot, and more on the feel of the movie - audiences around the world were introduced to David Corenswet's Clark Kent, who is a kinder, more romantic take on the character than movie audiences might be familiar with in recent years... and a hero that might be inspirational in new ways to the DCU as it unfolds in the coming years.

That's not all: the teaser also gives us our first looks at more DCU heroes (and villains: hi, Lex Luthor!), and even teases the big screen arrival of Metamorpho, who might play more of a role in things than we first expected. And that's saying nothing about a surprisingly deep comic book lore cut hiding in plain sight that might offer more of a clue about the movie's plot than any of us initially noticed.

Of course, it's also possible we were all too distracted by how cute Krypto is to notice anything else. I mean, look at him

It was, in other words, not just a good teaser. It was... well... super. Watch it again right here:
