DC's James Gunn, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan and more of the cast talk making Superman into a big screen hero again: "Does it with heart"
"He saves people because it's the right thing to do," says Rachel Brosnahan, the new Lois Lane. "We could use a little bit more of that."

It’s Superman Day — you might have noticed that we’ve been sharing some Superman stories all day, right? If not, each word of that link will take you to a different Super story — which means that DC Studios is ready to tease July’s big-screen reboot for Superman again.
In what’s officially described as a Superman Day - Behind the Scenes look (but is, I suspect, the CinemaCon 2025 behind the scenes footage repurposed), we get to see Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner) and David Corenswet (that Superman guy), along with other cast members and producer/DC Studios co-chef Peter Safran talk about the new movie, and what writer/director James Gunn has brought to the new movie — and we also get to see Gunn talk about how important Superman is to him as a whole.
“I had been trying to crack it for years,” Gunn says of writing the movie. “The character is noble, and he’s beautiful.”
