The Flash's Carlos Valdes just learned his Vibe character had an easter egg in James Gunn's Superman movie
Remember the Flash mural from the TV show? There's one in the Superman movie, and one surprising Flash TV show character is in it.

James Gunn’s new Superman movie featured plenty of DC Easter eggs for the eagle-eyed, including allusions to The Flash.
Clark Kent holds a coffee cup from Central City’s Jitters, a chain that featured prominently into the CW’s Arrowverse show. It’s also mentioned on the television news that Lex Luthor’s fast-growing Kaiju was first spotted at a Jitters coffee shop.
A breakout character from The Flash also made a brief appearance.
A mural at the Hall of Justice, which the Cincinnati Union Terminal stood in for in the largely Ohio-shot film, depicts several DC metahumans throughout history like Sister Symmetry, Silent Knight, Black Pirate, Super Chief, Ghost of Flanders, Sandman, Amazing Man, Zatara, and Liberty Belle.
It also includes Vibe, the superhero genius S.T.A.R. Labs engineer Cisco Ramon eventually became on the long-running show.
The Flash actor Carlos Valdes was not aware his character made a brief appearance in one of the biggest superhero movies of the summer until he was informed about it by a moderator at Fan Expo Chicago.
"Whaaat?" he says in an incredulous tone when learning Vibe made it onto the mural.
Vibe, who can emit vibratory shockwaves, is technically canon now to James Gunn's DC Universe.
"Now we know that Cisco is in the DC Universe technically, so maybe there's an opening for you at some point," the moderator remarks at Fan Expo Chicago.
Valdes has been too busy raising a kid to see the Superman movie yet.
“I have a child so I haven’t seen a movie in 30 years,” he quips.
He did see Weapons the night before his Fan Expo Chicago panel and loved it, but didn’t think Zach Cregger's dark horror film about supernatural child abduction and the dark side of Naruto running was appropriate to take a kid to.
The Flash can be watched on Netflix.
