2025 is the year of Superman. With James Gunn's Superman movie due out this July, it's clear that Warner Bros. is pulling out all the stops to launch this next phase of the DC Universe into the stratosphere. And now, for Superman Day this April, Warner Bros. is hosting an event on their lot to celebrate all things related to the Man of Steel.
On Friday, April 18, 2025, Warner Bros. is celebrating Superman Day by screening the 1978 Superman film starring Christopher Reeve. Ben Mankiewicz, the host for Turner Classic Movies, will be present to introduce the film. Beyond the screening, the Warner Bros. Studio Store will display art "with special appearances from comic book artists." Who will be there? Only one way to find out! In addition, any DC merch that is bought at the Studio Store that day will include "a free special edition comic book, while supplies last."
The event will include a one hour guided tour around the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, with a special focus on the DC Universe. The tour begins at 5:00 PM, and the screening begins at 7:00 PM. For more information, you can visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour website.
