The ertswhile duo of Din Djarin and 'baby Yoda' are returning - not in The Mandalorian season 4, but in a full-fledged movie - the latest in the Star Wars cinematic pantheon - with 2026's The Mandalorian & Grogu. With filming underway and being just a year and change out, writer/director Jon Favreau and co-writer Dave Filoni are going to Japan to lead Lucasfilm's expansive, official The Mandalorian & Grogu panel at Star Wars Celebration 2025.

Favreau and Filoni are the two announced guests for the panel, but we expect some "special guests" including possibly Pedro Pascal, and three new actors joining the Star Wars fold with this movie: Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White, and Jonny Coyne.

Star Wars Celebration 2025's The Mandalorian & Grogu panel beings Friday April 18 at 10am Japan time (that's Thursday, April 17 at 8pm
