"I've loved laughing with you all," writes Holland to his Spider-Man: Brand New Day crew, "And I hope we do this many times over."

MCU fans will be grateful this summer when Spider-Man: Brand New Day finally tells us what's been going on with Marvel's wallcrawler after the dramatic ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home. That said, we probably won't be as grateful as the MCU's Spider-Man, Tom Holland, was to the crew of filmmakers that helped him tell that story. And if you need proof of that, just look to the hand-written letter he gave them after filming had wrapped.
The letter was posted to The Direct's MCU-specific social media page on January 29, along with an image of a Brand New Day crew hat and a printed thank you from some of the top creatives of the film - director Destin Daniel Cretton, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, co-president Louis Esposito, producer/Spider-Man chief Amy Pascal, producer Rachel O'Connor, and more. But hey, that's not what you're here for, right - you want to know what's in the hand-written letter from Peter parker himself.
"To our incredible crew," begins the letter, "Firstly, I'm so sad this is coming to an end. It's been tough and hard work, but working with you all every day has been such a joy. Thank you for making this the most creatively fulfilling filming experience I've ever had."
Let's pause for a second to talk about what a huge compliment that is. Remember, Tom Holland is saying this is "the most creatively fulfilling filming experience [he's] ever had" after filming this summer's upcoming The Odyssey, directed by living legend Christopher Nolan. And not for nothing, but Holland also seems to be saying this topped his other three Spider-Man movies and Avengers team-up films.
"Your hard work, dedication, talent, and kindness," the actor continued, "has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of and I can't thank you enough. I've loved laughing with you all and I hope we do this many times over. This movie wouldn't be a fraction of what it will be without you. So thank you from the bottom of my heart and I'll see you next time."
Don't go taking that last sentence out of context - "next time" here doesn't necessarily mean that Holland has any info regarding a fifth installment of his MCU Spidey saga. But if he does get that call, we at least know who he'll want to do the job with.
