Tonight is Marvel's long awaited Hall H blowout at San Diego Comic Con, and they sure have a lot to announce
After Blade, there are three unnamed films on the Marvel schedule. Will they be revealed tonight?
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Dune: Prophecy creators promise to bring the "complexity" and "grand scale" of Frank Herbert's books and Denis Villeneuve's movies to TV
- Marvel's TV head says there's "absolutely" a future for Jon Bernthal's Punisher after his Daredevil: Born Again appearance
- Meet the Grim Reaper of The Walking Dead TV show cast, and what goes into killing someone off in the show
No disrespect to the very cool franchises that made waves at this year's San Diego Comic Con, but you kind of have to admit - 2024 has, so far, been Marvel's year. After an absolutely wild Deadpool & Wolverine panel (and screening of the film!), plus a Galactus-sporting drone show, and enough comic announcements for multiple cons, Marvel has been the talk of this very large town. And the craziest thing? Their biggest panel hasn't even happened yet.
But you won't have to wait long. The Marvel Studios Hall H panel is going down tonight, July 27, at 6 PM PST. And while we don't know exactly what's going to be announced, what we do know is that there are three things Marvel certainly could announce. Those things, of course, are the titles of their so-far-unnamed 2026 films.
Set to be released as part of the MCU's Phase Six and debut between Blade and Avengers: Secret Wars, those three films have release dates as follows:
- Untitled 2026 Marvel Movie One - February 13, 2026
- Untitled 2026 Marvel Movie Two - July 24, 2026
- Untitled 2026 Marvel Movie Three - November 6, 2026
Of course, there's a lot more that can be announced at tonight's H-stravaganza than just the subjects of thee three films (at Friday's Marvel Fanfare panel, studio boss Kevin Feige confirmed that the entity is committed to two or three shows a year, so there's a lot to pull from there). But seeing as we're just a few years away from these films' release dates, combined with the fact that we're learning details of other future features like Fantastic Four every day, Marvel could very well want to start the hype-train for those soon.
And come on, who wouldn't love to see our first MCU X-Men logo tonight?
Whatever happens, Popverse will be bringing the Marvel Studios Hall H panel to you, via liveblog, starting at 6PM PST (9PM EST).
