Congratulations, Pixar: you might just have won D23 Expo. What could be the project that put every other announcement at the packed two-hour-plus presentation in the Honda Center in the shade? Oh, just the third installment in The Incredibles series.
Yes, that’s right: The Incredibles 3 is coming, and creator Brad Bird is attached to the project.
No further details were revealed other than the movie’s logo — which is to say, The Incredibles logo, but now there’s a “3” attached — but, really, what else needed to be said. We’re going to get a new Incredibles movie, and it’s by the guy that hasn’t steered us wrong yet with the series. This alone is a cure to any suspected superhero movie fatigue, and we can’t wait to find out more.
