If you want to be a member of Huntrix, this is your chance as Netflix are bringing KPop Demon Hunters to a theater near you
The song we're all obsessed with - this is what it sounds like

If anyone had KPop Demon Hunters becoming one of the most popular movies Netflix has ever made on their bingo sheet for 2025, you officially win. Not only is the movie still in the Netflix Top 10 more than two months after it debuted, but it is even getting a theatrical release with a twist – you’re allowed to sing along to the (incredible) soundtrack.
You read that right – Netflix is giving Huntrix the big screen treatment they have always deserved by releasing KPop Demon Hunters in hundreds of cinemas around the world. And you’re even allowed to sing along to the songs, just like you definitely do at home. Currently, the movie will only be showing on August 23-24, 2025, though there is always the possibility that it will be extended if ticket sales go well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, over 1000 showings across North America have already sold out.
To say that we’re excited for this is an understatement. KPop Demon Hunters is easily one of our favorite movies of 2025, bringing together a unique visual style with characters that are charming and vulnerable and a soundtrack that has spawned multiple chart hits. There is a reason why it has reigned supreme on Netflix pretty much since the moment it was released, so getting to experience it on the big screen is not something we are going to pass up.
Even if you’ve already watched KPop Demon Hunters (sometimes multiple times), the chance to see it in cinemas is an unexpected treat. You can check your local cinema to find out where your nearest showing is.
