It isn’t too unusual to ask which of your friends might not survive a zombie apocalypse, but, when you’re the star of Jurassic World Rebirth, sometimes people wonder who would survive being hunted by dinosaurs. That’s the question that was posed to former Black Widow Scarlett Johansson; which of her MCU co-stars would stand a chance of surviving in the Jurassic Park world?
As one of the original Avengers, Scarlett Johansson has worked with many of the biggest names in Hollywood at this point. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she was asked to pick which of her co-stars might survive if they were in a world where dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. The first pairing was Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans – Thor and Captain America – and Johansson didn’t have high hopes for either.
“They both take a very long time in the hair and make-up chair,” she quickly said, though she believed that Chris Hemsworth would have the edge. “I’m only saying Hemsworth because he’s Australian and in Australia, they have a lot of very scary, venomous snakes.”
The next MCU pairing she was asked about was Brie Larson and Florence Pugh – Captain Marvel and the new Black Widow. This time it took her a bit longer to decide who would survive a dinosaur attack.
“I’ve watched Brie push like a tire up a hill as part of her training. I’ve watched Florence make a great bruschetta.”
As much as we love the idea of Florence Pugh making a great bruschetta on the set of Black Widow, it sounds like Brie Lawson has the edge on this one.
It is a shame that Marvel still can’t figure out the Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali because at least we have a definitive answer to whether he would survive in the Jurassic Park world.
