Is Scream's Skeet Ulrich playing Henry the Cassette Man in Five Nights at Freddy's 2? The actor is coy, but does talk about a "big scene" in the sequel

Skeet Ulrich says that Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is well written, and teases a big moment between him and Josh Hutcherson

Skeet Ulrich is ready to spend five nights at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The actor will be starring in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, which is due in theaters on December 5. Ulrich’s role, which hasn’t been revealed yet, will reunite him with his Scream castmate Matthew Lillard.

If you check social media, the rumor is that Ulrich will be playing Henry Emily, the co-founder of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While not an outright confirmation, Ulrich didn’t dismiss the rumor when a fan asked if it was okay to say he was playing Henry.

“You can. I can’t,” Ulrich coyly answered during a panel at GalaxyCon San Jose.

While Ulrich wasn’t able to confirm his role, he did give fans some hints about the movie.

“My experience was pretty amazing. It was really well written. I felt like I understood it and connected to him pretty quickly. And then we sort of worked on the look on him for a couple of days, and tried various things, and tested them, and stuff like that. And figured out what it would be.”

“We rehearsed. Josh [Hutcherson] and I, we have a big scene together, and it was pretty magical.” That sentence made Lillard nervous, and he motioned for Ulrich to slow down and change the subject before he spoiled something. Hmmm…

“It’s not in some ways different than any job you’re on, but there was something pretty electric about it for me anyway.”

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 hits theaters on December 5, 2025.
