It's only been a couple of weeks since the final episode of What We Do in the Shadows aired on FX, but already, we're going through some serious Guillermo withdrawal. Fortunately, our beloved Harvey Guillén already has a new horror comedy project in the works, and the trailer just dropped. Before we continue, watch this fresh trailer for Warner Bros.'s Companion.

He's back! Oh sweet Harvey, how we've missed you. And in a fresh, more devious role? How lucky are we?

But Guillén's not the only fan favorite in the flick - in fact, it's pretty much a movie full of Reddit's favorite faces - and he's not the only actor flexing their range. Probably the best example of this is Hollywood's favorite golden retriever, Jack Quaid, who's playing much more of a jerk than his usual beloved characters (it was wuite the topic of conversation in the Popverse Slack, don't you know). 

Then there's Sophie Thatcher, already on her way to Scream Queen stardom with roles like Nat in Yellowjackets and Sister Barnes in the hit A24 thriller Heretic. Thatcher's role as an AI sexbot will walk the line between victim and monster - no she's not human, but even as a robot, she's also undergone some Stepford Wives-style oppression. 

(Did you catch that Stepford Wives reference, by the way? It's the very first shot of the trailer.)

Perhaps the only unsurprising part of this trailer is that it's from the folks who made Barbarian - that is, producers Zach Cregger, Raphael Margules and J. D. Lifshitz. Though the thing that's unsurprising there is that we can probably expect a surprising (and disturbing, and dark, and oddly hilarious) story from that team. 

Companion comes to theaters in the US January 31.
