Keep scrolling to learn what Popverse Predicts will happen in... Captain America: Brave New World.
But be warned: Spoilers follow.
As of this publication, it's been one week since the US release of Captain America: Brave New World. Though the film is technically the midpoint of Phase Five, in many ways, it is a new era for the MCU, the first movie to feature Sam Wilson taking on the Captain America mantle and the first film to return to the Studios' PG-13 roots after the R-Rated (but wildly successful) Deadpool & Wolverine. Naturally, fans had a whole host of ideas about what was going to happen in the film, and Popverse certainly wasn't exempt.
Below, you'll find a list of what the Popverse team expected to see happen in the fourth Captain America movie, which stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tim Blake Nelson. Go ahead and read the predictions now, and then scroll to the bottom to see who got the most correct predictions (highlighted in bold).

- Julie Louise Dreyfus will appear as part of Ross' team, setting up Thunderbolts* specifically
- Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as the Hulk

- Red Hulk will say "I have been waiting a long time to say this... SMASH!"
- Someone mentions they're "waiting for the right test subject" for the Weapon X program
- A new, non-Hugh Jackman Wolverine will show up in the post-credits scene

- Union Jack makes his MCU debut - either Joey Chapman or Brian Falsworth
- Taegukgi or Tiger Division are mentioned
- Amadeus Cho (Brawn/the Totally Awesome Hulk) is mentioned
- TODD ZILLER (AMERICAN KAIJU) REFERENCE. Probably won't happen but oh my god. I would cry
Grant DeArmitt, Staff Writer

- Someone will reference the Weapon X program
- Bucky Barnes will make a third-act appearance
- A new adamantium shield will be constructed
- The original Hulk will appear mid-credits to chat with Thaddeus Ross
Jeremy Ross, Marketing Manager

- Liv Tyler transforms into She-Hulk
- We learn that Baron Zemo has broken out of prison
- Harrison Ford says, "Get off my plane"
- The final battle takes place in Harlem once again, and Mike Colter returns as Luke Cage to help out
Jimmy Goddu, Senior Director

- Harrison Ford has the funniest moment in the movie
And the winner of this Popverse Predicts is...
After successfully predicting one correct plot point apiece, the very first Popverse Predicts ends in a tie between Jimmy Goddu and me, Grant DeArmitt. I called it correctly that Sam Wilson's pal Bucky Barnes would show up, which he did to give the new Cap a pep talk, and Jimmy made the correct assumption that the funniest bit of the film would be a Harrison Ford moment. That was, of course, the Peloton sequence on the plane.
But just because a winner for this Popverse Predicts has been declared doesn't mean that Team Popverse is through forecasting the future of franchise favorites. In fact, we just came out with what we think is going to happen in the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 1 finale. Why not go check it out?
