But you can expect a callback soon, as Black Phone 2 is dialing up your local movie theater now. So when should you expect the release date for Black Phone 2 to come calling?
The Black Phone 2 release date is October 17 in theaters. It’s been a little while since the previous movie was released, as The Black Phone debuted at Fantastic Fest in September 2021 and was then widely released in June 2022. Then in 2023, the in-canon short film “Dreamkill” was released as a part of the V/H/S/85 horror anthology. Of course, you don’t need to get ahold of anyone to know that Black Phone 2 is among many exciting upcoming movie release dates. Here’s the trailer for Black Phone 2:
Black Phone 2 sees the return of Finney (Mason Thames), the only known survivor of the serial killer, the Grabber (Ethan Hawke). While the Grabber was killed by Finney in The Black Phone, Hawke is nevertheless returning for the sequel. Other actors include Madeleine McGraw as Finney’s sister Gwen, Demián Bichir as the Alpine Lake camp supervisor, Arianna Rivas as the supervisor’s niece, Mustang, and Jeremy Davies as Gwen’s and Finney’s father, Terrence. Also returning is Miguel Mora, but now playing the brother of one of the Grabber’s victims after playing one of the Grabber’s victims in the previous movie.
The release date for Black Phone 2 in theaters is October 17.
