There is a lot of (justifiable) hype for the upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie. The last time Tanjiro and his crew hit the big screen for a feature-length adventure, it became one of the highest-grossing films in Japanese history. So, as we get closer to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle movie release date, our expectations only get higher and higher.

The announcement that the final arc of Demon Slayer wouldn’t be made into an anime series was a surprise to most fans. Instead of a sequel to Demon Slayer season four, we’re getting three films that tackle the dramatic end of the manga’s story. The first of these movies is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle, which has a release date of July 18, 2025 in Japan. Crunchyroll is handling the international release schedule. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle will be released in the US and UK on September 12, 2025. It is landing during a busy period in cinemas, with plenty of big releases happening this summer.

This is just the first of three movies that we’ll be getting to adapt the final arcs of the Demon Slayer manga. The final confrontation between the Demon Slayer Corps and the forces of Muzan Kibutsuji is here and we’ll get to see just how those final epic chapters play out. Who lives and dies and who fails to maintain their humanity? That is what we’re excited to see.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is due out on July 18, 2025 in Japanese cinemas, followed by a release in the US and UK on September 12, 2025.

Second, recommendations for how (and where) to watch all of Demon Slayer. Third, context of why Demon Slayer is so popular. Fourth, when we think Demon Slayer season 4 is coming out. And also, how Demon Slayer ends (at least in the manga).

And as a bonus, you can watch the full NYCC Demon Slayer panel with the voice cast.
