The Marvel hero Madame Web has the powers to see into possible futures, but you don't need to be a clairevoyant to know when you can see her film. This, the first female-led film in Sony's Spider-Man spinoff film franchise, features Dakota Johnson as the titular hero, joined by Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, and Isabela Merced all playing characters who in comics are (or were) at one time named Spider-Woman.
Consider this a Spider-Verse-ish kind of story.
But first things first - where can you see Madame Web? Here now a few days out from the film's release, you have a couple options.
When is the Madame Web release date in theaters?
Columbia Pictures' Madame Web will hit theaters on Wednesday, February 14 here in the United States. There's no major preview screenings the night before like some other movie releases, instead opting to be the defacto date night movie of choice for Valentine's Day this year. While you might think that odd, the original Deadpool did the same thing in 2016 - and it worked pretty well for us fans and the film-makers, don't you think?
You can buy Madame Web tickets on Fandango or Atom Tickets.
When will Madame Web streaming begin (and be on Netflix?)
For those fans in Canada, Madame Web is already slated to debut in streaming on Crave in April as part of an overall deal between the service and the studio.
For those of us in the US, we expect Madame Web to hit Netflix by August 2024 as part of a deal Sony and Netflix struck in 2023.
