She-Hulk herself, Tatiana Maslany, is joining Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

Fresh from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tatiana Maslany is going to boldly go where no woman has gone before.

If you’re a fan of Tatiana Maslany who was disappointed by Marvel’s decision not to renew She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, then we have some good news. The actress will be returning to television for another fan favorite franchise.

During the Star Trek Universe panel at New York Comic Con, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy showrunner Alex Kurtzman announced that Maslany would be joining the upcoming Paramount+ series. “I’ve had the incredible privilege of being able to direct her, and I can tell you that she is such a genius. We have Tatiana Maslany coming on board, and she is just incredible. She has been just an amazing addition to the cast,” Kurtzman said

Although Kurtzman didn’t elaborate on Maslany’s role, a press release on the official Star Trek website states that she’ll be a recurring special guest star for the first season. The question is, will she be friend or foe? Either way, it’s going to be great to see Maslany on television again on a regular basis.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Paramount+ in 2025.
