It's been three years of Ghosts, and the CBS sitcom is getting ready to play around with the format of the show as it heads into its new season.
So far, poor Jay has been living in an old house with his wife and a bunch of ghosts he really can't see at all. This predicament has left Jay in a lot of sticky situations, and we even saw his heart break a little with Sass' new ghost power stepping into Jay's dreams for manipulation purposes and not friendship purposes.
But that's going to change very soon - at least, according to Ghosts co-showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. At the Ghosts panel at San Diego Comic Con 2024's Ballroom 20, the two Joes shared with a big group of excited fans that in this new season, Jay will finally be able to see the ghosts he lives with. Jay actor Utkarsh Ambudkar was very excited about the news that he will now be able to "talk to people at work."
There seems to be countless plot opportunities coming from this development, but the main question all Ghost fans are probably asking is how this change is going to affect everyone's favorite ghost-human friendship between Jay and Pete. Will they finally be able to play Dungeons and Dragons together without Sam serving as DM? Only time will tell.
Ghosts season 4 is currently filming, and the first episode of the season will debut in October.
