If there’s one thing that Star Wars fans have learned, it’s that that famous galaxy far, far away is too big to be contained on just the big screen — or even the big and small screens. There’s a long history of essential Star Wars stories being told in books, comics, and even video games, and that’s a tradition that’s more than upheld today with projects like Star Wars: The High Republic, Marvel’s many Star Wars comic books, and the upcoming Star Wars Outlaws.
No surprise, then, that fans will be flocking to the Star Wars: Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where guests including authors Justina Ireland (Defy the Storm; Mission to Disaster), Tessa Gratton (Temptation of the Force), and Cavan Scott (Star Wars: The High Republic: Children of the Storm) will be joined by voice actors from Outlaws Humberly Gonzalez and Jay Rincon — oh, and Dee Bradley Baker, as well. (If you’ve ever watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, or Star Wars Rebels, you know exactly who he is; he’s also lending his talents to Star Wars Outlaws.) The whole panel is moderated by a comedian who’s known for his own Star Wars fandom, Patton Oswalt.
