Here's everything at New York Comic Con 2025 we're most excited about
Excited about NYCC 2025? We're about to give you plenty of reasons to be.

Look, we just want to put this out there: even in a world filled with outstanding comic cons, New York Comic Con is traditionally the big show of the year, and 2025 is no different. With a host of panels, signings, events and experiences happened across the four days of the show at the Javits Center — five days if you’re part of Wednesday’s professional industry day — there’s not just something for anyone to be found at New York Comic Con 2025… there’s something for everyone.
NYCC 2025 Panels

This year’s NYCC has some extraordinary panels planned — yes, we made a list of our favorites and you should too — but rest assured that anyone who’s a fan of HBO’s Game of Thrones (as represented by new spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, with a panel featuring none other than George R.R. Martin himself), Magic: The Gathering, Metal Gear Solid, or some of the biggest names in movies and television will find themselves catered for. Want to see what Marvel Television is planning for 2026? Saturday afternoon on the Empire Stage is where you’ll want to be at. Wondering what Blumhouse has planned for the none-more-spooky Blumfest 2025? We do too; we’ll all be at the Empire Stage Friday night at 8pm to find out.
For those who aren’t at the show, don’t worry: we’re livestreaming some of the biggest panels of the convention, including the Critical Role, One Piece, Running Man, IT: Welcome to Derry, Mortal Kombat II, and Hazbin Hotel panels during the weekend. Check out our schedule of the livestreams here, and if you don’t see your favorites, don’t despair: we’re going to be sharing video of some additional panels after the show, as well. Stay tuned for details.
Oh, and it is New York Comic Con, right? There’s going to be all kinds of comic book panels throughout the entire weekend, and if you’re wishing you could’ve made it to the Marvel and DC panels across the show, we’ve got the next best thing: we’re liveblogging them for Popverse Superfans. Find out more about Popverse membership here.
NYCC 2025 Exhibitors and Booths

Of course, if you think NYCC’s panel lineup is impressive (it is), wait until you see the show floor. This year, as with every year at the event, the main floor of the Javits Center will be filled with booths and displays from some of the most exciting companies in pop culture, from Marvel and DC through Toei — with their astonishing One Piece display — and Chainsaw Man studio MAPPA, as well as Funko, Konami, Blumhouse, Wizards of the Coast, Capcom and many, many more. The NYCC app and website both have maps to help visitors make sense of everything that’s going on, but if you’re looking for more guidance, we’re here for you with our choice of some of the finest booths at the show.
NYCC 2025 Artist Alley and Writers Block

Maybe you’re looking for some individual creators, as opposed to publishers, studios, and retailers. That’s great — NYCC has those too, in both Writers Block and Artist Alley, which can each be found on the 1st level of the Javits. As the name suggests, Writers Block is the home for all things prose at the show, with authors, publishers, and more — the ALA! — showing up and showing out, while Artist Alley continues the fine tradition of bringing pretty much a who’s who of the comic book talent to NYCC with more than 600 creators present and correct, including Absolute Batman co-creator Scott Snyder, Transformer writer (and all-round classic cartoonist) Daniel Warren Johnson, and Something is Killing the Children artist Wether Dell’Edera, as well as all-time icons like X-Men writer Chris Claremont, Elfquest creators Wendy and Richard Pini, and more. You can find a full list of who’s there right here, but we’ve also laid out some of our favorites for you here, too.
NYCC 2025 Cosplay, Fanmeets, and more

Perhaps all of the above isn’t why you’re into NYCC — and that’s more than okay, because the show offers so much more than the admittedly packed line-up above. It has some of the greatest cosplay in the world, as celebrated in Cosplay Central and during Saturday night’s Cosplay Central Crown Championships. We’ll let you know the winners of that event, even if you don’t watch our livestream of the event, and we’ll also be sharing some of the best cosplay that we can find throughout the weekend. There will also be fan meet-ups all through the show, and celebrity autographs and photo-ops galore, as well.
And all of that is just the things we know about in advance! One of the particular joys of any convention (but especially one on the scale of NYCC) is that there’s always all manner of unexpected things around the corner at any given moment. New York Comic Con 2025 is already shaping up to be one of the most exciting weeks of the pop culture calendar, and you can take it for granted that we’re going to be doing our very best to share the best of the show right here at Popverse.
New York Comic Con 2025 runs October 9 through October 12 at the Javits Center in New York City - October 8 if you have a pro badge.
