An entire Spider-Man set is coming to Magic: The Gathering in 2025

Magic: The Gathering's Universes Beyond is about to get into the Spider-Verse.

The second stage of Marvel Entertainment's multi-year partnership with Wizards of the Coast's Magic: The Gathering card game has been announced. Here at NYCC 2024, it was announced that, following the MTG x Marvel Secret Lair set previously teased/leaked, in 2025, there will be an entire set based around Marvel's Spider-Man.

There are no details about the set beyond the words (and logo) of Spider-Man and a 2025 year date, but its easy to expect this to be a set similar in size to the Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth series. We can hope for multiple packs, possibly featuring not only the Peter Parker Spider-Man, but possibly Miles Morales and even the Green Goblin. Personally, I'm hoping for a 0-cost Enchantment called Spider-Sense that lets us play the top card (or two?) from our deck... but hey: this is just a Magic/Marvel fan speaking.

We expect more on the MTG x Marvel collab next weekend at MagicCon: Las Vegas.
