We've all been there at a convention. You've spent a busy morning waiting in lines to get into great panels and then spent the early afternoon shopping for merch. Now, you're really hungry for food that isn't served in con center lighting, and you don't know where to go.

Luckily for you, we've got a pretty strong list (if we can say so ourselves) of food options near the Seattle Convention Center to check out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner in between your time at Emerald City Comic Con. The options don't just stop at this list though - Seattle Convention Center is near a ton of food, so take this list as inspiration, not as limitation. It's rare to have a convention center so close to so many restaurants, so you should certainly take advantage of the locale.

ECCC Eats: Serious Pie Downtown

Pizza is a great go-to when you're on a convention trip, but Serious Pie isn't your regular old pizza joint. No, it's a bit more on the upscale side and it serves delicious fresh-out-of-the-oven creative incredible pies. We recommend the Yukon Gold Potato, but you can't go wrong with the Fennel Sausage either. Serious Pie Downtown is about a 12-minute walk from the convention center, and it's worth every step. We promise.

ECCC Eats: Pike Place Chowder

If you're looking for more of a casual and quick dining experience. Pike Place Chowder should be a good go-to. Of course, there is a location at Pike Place, but, for those who don't want to wait in lines, there is also a location at the Pacific Place shopping center, just five minutes away from the convention center. Get your chowder here - and maybe a lobster roll too.

ECCC Eats: Monorail Espresso

Maybe you're not one to eat a big breakfast, especially on a con day. Instead, why not stop for a great (and local) cup of joe and a 'chubbie' just three minutes away from the convention center.

ECCC Eats: Asean Street Food Hall

If you've got a large group who can't decide on one type of food to order and don't want to bother with reservations, check out Asean Street Food Hall. This place has multiple restaurants featuring different types of Southeast Asian cuisine (we tried the Hainan Chicken Rice last time and loved it) and tons of seating.

ECCC Eats: Biscuit Bitch

Biscuit Bitch is a great breakfast place - if you're willing to wait. While the food here is excellent (Can anything beat a freshly baked biscuit?), the ordering can be a tad confusing. You have to check the sign at the actual store to see what the wait for your order will be, and then you place your order on the phone. This place is definitely worth it, but, if you're in a rush, maybe wait until you aren't.

ECCC Eats: Piroshky Piroshky

Piroshky Piroshky is a takeout bakery that focuses on many variations of the humble piroshky (handheld pies with sweet or savory fillings). There are so many options (vegan too) that you'll want to try a bit of everything. This place is located in Pike Place Market, so it's about fifteen minutes away from the convention center, but also has the added plus of being right next to a bunch of interesting sights (the market itself, the ocean, tourists, and more).
