Emerald City Comic Con 2025: Pro and creator programming track, from breakfast to breaking in (and beyond!)
ReedPop is hosting four days of professional programming at the Pacific Northwest's finest convention, March 6 through 9

The Pacific Northwest's premiere comic + pop culture show Emerald City Comic Con returns soon - March 6 through 9 to be exact. Stay tuned to Popverse for all the ECCC 2025 news, our recs for what to do at ECCC 2025, where to find Popverse, and buy tickets now to find your place at the Seattle staple.
If there’s one thing that can be relied on at Emerald City Comic Con every year, it’s a healthy dose of ensuring that future generations of creators get the help necessary to keep going. At ECCC 2025, ReedPop — which owns and operates the show, as well as Popverse — is once again lining up four days’ worth of programming aimed at professionals to help them network, refine their skills, and basically become the best they can be at what they do.
With panels, reviews, and even a breakfast taking place across the show, it’s probably worth planning out what’s happening where, and just where you need to be, whether a current or future creator. Keep reading to plan your calendar.
Portfolio Reviews at ECCC 2025
Editors from two top comic book publishers are going to be at ECCC conducting portfolio reviews for artists: DC’s Andrew Marino, and Ignition Press’s Jeremy Haun. Both will be handling reviews Friday through Sunday but portfolios should be dropped off the day prior at the Show Office on level 4 of the Summit Building, between 11am and 5pm. Here are some rules to remember:
- Portfolios MUST contain your contact information. This includes your full name, cell phone number, and e-mail address.
- The portfolio review schedule will be posted each morning at the SHOW OFFICE on Friday March 7, Saturday March 8, and Sunday March 9. Please visit this location to confirm your scheduled review time and location for the reviews.
- Do not leave original work with us. Whatever your portfolio contains, make sure you keep the original work. We cannot be responsible for any lost or misplaced work.
- Please respect the editor's time and opinion.
- Review sessions are limited to artists only.
- Not all submissions will be chosen for review.
- Please note: Submissions/portfolios will NOT be returned.
