Watch Game Changing TV: Celebrating Heated Rivalry with Rachel Reid & Jacob Tierney from BookCon 2026!

Game Changers author Rachel Reid and Heated Rivalry showrunner Jacob Tierney brought steam to melt a whole city full of hockey rinks, and Popverse was there to catch their BookCon spotlight

The only thing hotter than the romance at the heart of HBO's Heated Rivalry is the passion of its fanbase, and we have proof. That proof was at BookCon 2026, where Rachel Reid - the author of the Game Changers series upon which the show was based - and Jacob Tierney - the series creator and showrunner - took the stage in front of hundreds of fans for a panel spotlighting the show's incredible success.

If you're burning up because you couldn't make it, though, don't worry - you can consider Popverse a heat delivery system. We not only filmed the Game Changing TV panel from this year's literary hotspot, but we're making it available to you right now.

This is one of the many Bookcon 2026 panels Popverse filmed at New York City's Javits on the Hudson. Consult our Bookcon 2026 panel hub for a list of all of the panels we have available, and what's left to be released.
