BookCon 2026 just started, but we have the BookCon 2027 dates & location (and who is getting first dibs on tickets)

BookCon 2027 dates and location revealed ahead of 2026 event kickoff.

If you're reading this, we know you hate spoilers. But this one we think you'll enjoy: BookCon is coming back in 2027, and we can now tell you when and where.

As we write this, BookCon 2026 is minutes away from its fated return here at the Javits on the Hudson, and we will all be returning next year as BookCon 2027 will take place Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, here once again at the Javits.

Our BookCon 2026 Premium VIP ticket-holders will be getting first access to BookCon tickets, with details on when tickets will go on sale to be forthcoming later this year.... but we're getting ahead of ourselves!

Prepare for Popverse to be doing written and video coverage of BookCon 2026, as we have reporters on the scene, filming crews in several panel rooms, and Popverse's touring video interview suite Pop Spot, backstage right next to the celebrity green room.

If you're here at the Javits this weekend, tag us on social media with your picture!

Here's a list of all the major upcoming prose novels in our favorite genres.

About BookCon 2027

BookCon is a two-day event where storytelling and pop culture collide. Step into a weekend where stories come alive and fantasy meets reality. Where meeting your favorite author is just the beginning of your adventure. From intimate author chats and immersive experiences to book swaps that feel like treasure hunts, we're building an event for lovers of storytelling in all its forms. Consider this your official permission slip to geek out about that one specific paragraph on page 247 that made you throw the book across the room (in the best way possible). Whether you're a longtime BookTube, Bookstagram, or BookTok creator or someone who quietly devours three books a week in your favorite reading nook, your chapter in this story is essential.
