Indiana Jones isn't the only Bethesda game coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, according to rumors

Starfield is also getting a Switch 2 port next year, according to a reliable leaker of Nintendo news.

We were all surprised to find out that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle would be making the jump from Xbox to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, mainly because Microsoft and Nintendo are direct competitors. However, rumor has it that Indy isn’t the only Bethesda title headed to the Switch 2 next year, as there are now reports that Starfield is also aiming for a 2026 release on Switch 2.

We’re going to preface this by saying that this is all speculation at the moment, but the source of the rumor, YouTuber NateTheHate, has a track record for breaking news before an official source confirms it. In a post on social media, he said that Starfield, the occasionally overlooked open-world RPG that takes The Elder Scrolls formula into space, would be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.

While we’re not usually inclined to take these kinds of rumors at face value, the timing of the leak makes it feel more legitimate than most. We just got confirmation that Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is coming to Switch 2. Both games are made by Bethesda, which is, in turn, owned by Microsoft. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said in the past that the company intends to port many of its games to Switch 2 and has called Nintendo a “great partner,” so the idea of games like Starfield, which could benefit from an expanded player base, making their way to Switch 2 isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility. It would certainly be a sign that Nintendo is taking the need for strong third-party support seriously.

If the rumors are true, then Starfield will be yet another Bethesda title to be ported to the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
