Matthew Lillard shares his ultimate celebrity D&D party, and its none of the Scream or Scooby Doo co-stars like you might think
The Five Nights at Freddy's and Daredevil: Born Again star knows his way around a D&D table as well. Here is who he wants to see at his games.

You might not realize this, but Matthew Lillard isn’t just a horror movie icon and the definitive live-action Shaggy. He’s also a massive D&D nerd. In fact, it is how he got his most recent gig in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Just like any other D&D fan, Matthew Lillard has a list of celebrities he would love to see sat around his table – and, no, none of them are from Critical Role.
During a Reddit AMA, Matthew Lillard was asked which celebrities he would like to see around his table in the future. “Darius Miles, Frankie Muniz, Ice Cube, and Marc Blucas,” the Scream star responded.
That is a suitably random set of names, but we’re sure Matthew Lillard has his reasons. The biggest question is who each of these celebrities would play in D&D. We think Frankie Muniz would be at home as an elf wizard, whereas we would love to see Ice Cube’s take on being a bard of some kind. Watching him use Vicious Mockery to initiate a rap battle would be incredible to watch. Don’t ask us why but we think Darius Miles would be a ranger. It just makes sense in our heads. As for Marc Blucas, he seems like a fighter to us. Simple and straightforward.
Of course, this was a few years ago so it is possible that Matthew Lillard’s ideal D&D group has changed. We already know that his Daredevil: Born Again co-star Deborah Ann Woll is a massive D&D fan, but what are the odds Lillard could get Charlie Cox or Vincent D’Onofrio around the table as well?
