Marvel Snap has had a rough couple of weeks. During its new season, which included a crossover with team shooter Marvel Rivals, the game was caught in the US ban on TikTok simply because its publisher is owned by the social media site’s parent company. Though developer Second Dinner didn’t really do anything to cause the outage, they are still rewarding players for their patience with a generous compensation package for those impacted.

Of course, there are a couple of ground rules to keep in mind. To get these rewards in Marvel Snap, you have to have created your account before January 20, 2025, so new players can’t get them if they weren’t affected by the downtime. Additionally, Second Dinner has confirmed that players who used a VPN to play Marvel Snap in the US during the TikTok ban won’t be punished – they’ll still be eligible for the compensation package.

What compensation package you’re eligible for will depend on where you live and what Collection Level you’ve reached in the game.
