One of the best parts of playing Marvel Snap is getting new cards to add to your deck. Unfortunately, one of the worst parts of Marvel Snap is trying to get new cards without getting a load of duplicates. While we all love a good variant – provided it doesn’t include plagiarized art – trying to build a new deck can be slow and frustrating for new or returning players. However, Marvel Snap is finally addressing the problem by introducing Snap Packs, which promise to make getting new cards easier.
The announcement came from the game’s social media and included an acknowledgment of the current system for getting new cards in Marvel Snap. In response to years of criticism, Second Dinner is implementing a new system for getting cards in Marvel Snap called Snap Packs. While we have to wait to see how Snap Packs work in practice, the developer has explained that each one will include at least one card not in your current collection.
There are different Snap Packs for each series, meaning that you can pay more Tokens to get rarer cards. While it doesn’t change the way the game is played, this is among the biggest changes to the Marvel Snap ecosystem since the game was first launched.
The introduction of Snap Packs means that Spotlight Caches, which had been the best way to get new cards for Marvel Snap, are going away. Snap Packs will be implemented in Marvel Snap in either the April 29 or June 3 patch.
