Loki mains, rejoice: new Marvel Rivals patch finally gives Lady Loki a lord avatar
The Goddess of Mischief herself, Lady Loki, has now gotten the lord avatar she deserves in Marvel Rivals

It's often said that playing support in a game like Marvel Rivals is a thankless job, but every once in a while, something rolls around that makes all of our collective decisions to main this role worth it. Case in point: the Lady Loki skin that debuted this week. I've been playing this game consistently this week, and I've never seen more people playing Loki than right now.
Lady Loki comes with a re-recorded set of voice lines done by Abby Trott, who is also the voice actor behind Magik in Marvel Rivals. Trott delivers Loki's lines with a perfect sense of sass and haughtiness fit for the God[dess] of Mischief, making lines like "Your goddess is suffering!" and "May you enjoy Hel" a genuine delight to hear on the battlefield (okay, maybe not "Your goddess is suffering," but as far as "heal me up" voice lines go, you could do much worse).
And now, if you've managed to grind all the way to lord proficiency as Loki, you can bring your Lady Loki skin with you in your avatar. Marvel Rivals has debuted a lord avatar for Lady Loki, giving all of you recent Loki players a goal to shoot for as you enjoy this recent resurgence of the character in Marvel Rivals. If you remember, the debut of Lady Loki also brought a brand new avatar for the character in lower proficiency ranks (so, everything below lord), so it's only natural for the Goddess of Mischief to get her own lord avatar instead of defaulting to the OG lord Loki avatar.

The debut of Lady Loki and all of the content that comes with her skin raises a question of whether or not we'll see a similar treatment given to other characters in the game who possess multitudes within their own right. Personally, I would love a Magus avatar for Adam Warlock to match the Magus skin I beelined for when it dropped as part of season 5's battlepass.
I also would imagine that other gamers would love to see a Malice avatar for the Invisible Woman, as it's one of the most popular skins in the game. Who knows! Anything can happen, and I'm sure we'll be reminded of this fact when Deadpool hits the game next week.
