PAX East 2026 has just wrapped up — although you can expect to see more stories from the show here over the next few days, courtesy of our intrepid transatlantic reporter Trent L. Cannon — but you’ll forgive us for already looking to the future. The dates for PAX East 2027 have been announced, and we’re ready and eager to share them with you.

PAX East 2027 will take place April 22 through April 25, 2027. The show will, once again, be at the Thomas M. Merino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, welcoming more than 100,000 gamers across the four-day event as they rush to see what’s next in the world of gaming.

The observant amongst you will have noticed that the 2027 dates decouple PAX East from C2E2 after the two events sharing the same weekend this year; C2E2 2027 is running the following weekend, April 30-May 2, 2027. That means that it’ll be possible once again for fans to attend both shows, as opposed to being forced into making the heinous decision to choose which show is their favorite.

Is PAX East 2027 the next PAX?

No! Before the end of this year, gamers on the West Coast can enjoy PAX West 2026 (September 4-7), and there’s also PAX Australia on October 9-11, and PAX Unplugged on December 4-6 in Philadelphia.
