A Critical Role theme park, a new season of All Work No Play, and more: What the cast would do with a blank check

What would the Critical Role cast do with unlimited money? Make more shows and build an epic theme park

Travis Willingham mentioned a Critical Role theme park, and now I can’t think about anything else. To be clear, there are no actual plans for a Critical Role theme park, but Willingham brought up the idea when he was asked what he and his colleagues would do if they had an unlimited budget.

“If there was a blank check, we would obviously make Critical Role Land,” Travis Willingham says during a Critical Role panel at Emerald City Comic Con 2026. “Then we would just put up CCTV cameras around as people throw up as they got off the Thordak ride and all that stuff. It would just fuel itself.”

(Sidenote – if I had an unlimited budget, I would get an annual pass and buy a house next to this metaphorical theme park)

The rest of the Critical Role crew speculated on what they would do with blank checks, and their instinct was to make more fun content.

“If we had a blank check, we have some ideas for a really big, really ambitious brand-new season of All Work No Play,” Marisha Ray says. “We just had a meeting about it two days ago. We had some crazy ideas,” Sam Riegel adds.

“If anyone is writing [those blank checks], let us know,” Matthew Mercer says.

Is there a millionaire out there who can fund these ideas? If not, we need to crowdfund, because I’m not letting go of the idea of a Critical Role theme park.

With two animated series on Prime Video, Campaign 4 in full swing, and so much more Exandrian lore to come, Critical Role is showing no signs of slowing down. That's why the adventuring party at Popverse are here to bring you everything we can from those nerdy-ass voice actors & Bo., including:

...and much, much more. Roll initiative, player. Magic awaits.
