It's time for more Cyberpunk 2077 - comics style. Continuing the expansion of the world of the hit game Cyberpunk 2077, Dark Horse Comics is launching a new series titled Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown. This four-issue miniseries is written by the principal writer of Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty, Thomasz Marchewka, with artist Jake Elphick, colorist Jason Wordie, and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. The miniseries will feature cover art from Elphick too, as well as variants on each issue from RUDCEF, André Lima Araújo, Chris O'Halloran, and DOFRESH.

Dark Horse Comics is working in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red on the new series, and the mini series will include newly designed cars that are not in the game, created by CD Projekt Red specifically for this book.

As for what to expect from the comic itself, here's the publisher's blurb: "With her foot on the pedal of the hottest ride in Night City, the daughter of a famed carjacker is out to fix the past. Fire up the engines, street racing action is taking over. With a crowd of gangsters, racers, and criminals, word is spreading fast—and that is all according to plan. Meet new characters from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 as the underbelly of this corrupt world kicks it into fifth gear."

You'll be able to pick up a copy of the first issue of Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown on July 3, 2024. You can pre-order the comic at your local comic shop today.
