Technically, Eisner-winning comics writer Tom King is also Eisner-winning comics artist Tom King
Writer Tom King will be the first to tell you that he's a terrible artist, but that doesn't change the fact that he's drawn a page in an Eisner-winning comic book.

Tom King is an Eisner-winning comic book extraordinaire. And while you may know him as the writer of stories such as Mister Miracle, Grayson, Sheriff of Babylon, The Human Target, Strange Adventures, The Vision, and of course, Batman, you might not know that King has contributed artwork to one of his Eisner-winning stories. In the comic book industry, it isn't unusual for writers to also be gifted artists, but King doesn't count himself as part of this cohort. King's artistic abilities are largely limited to drawing stick figures, but that didn't stop him from winning one of the most illustrious awards in comics.
Speaking to our video producer Ashley Victoria Robinson as part of our Popversations interview series, Tom King revealed the truth about his turn as an Eisner-winning comic book artist. "I drew a page in Mister Miracle," King began, "which won the Eisner for Best [Limited Series] of the year, which means I'm an Eisner-winning artist."
Though King only drew one page in Mister Miracle, the rest of the book was drawn by his frequent collaborator, Mitch Gerads. Gerads won Best Penciller/Inker at the Eisner Awards that year for his work on Mister Miracle, minus the one page drawn by King.
