As the modern revamp of the classic comics hero, The Phantom, continues, with it comes a revamp of one of his adversaries: Princess Sin of the Red Dragon Pirates. This new iteration of the classic villain comes as the Phantom becomes aware of their pirate operations.
“Long-time readers of The Phantom will know the name of the notorious Red Dragon Pirates, and it’s my pleasure to bring them back and introduce them to new readers, too," says Ray Fawkes, who has been writing the Phantom's adventures recently for Mad Cave Studios. "These bloody-minded troublemakers are exactly the kind of villains The Phantom swore to defend against, and they’re giving him more trouble than usual in this action-packed story!”
This all happens in the 40-page one-shot The Phantom vs. the Red Dragons, which is illustrated by Lynne Yoshii with colorist JUANCHO and letterer Taylor Esposito.

“It's been an honor to add my art to such a legendary character like The Phantom!" adds Yoshii. "It's the kind of project that reminds you why you fell in love with comics in the first place.”
While The Phantom vs. the Red Dragons is intended to be standalone, it picks up off from the recent Phantom stories Fawkes has written in The Phantom #1 through #5 and The Phantom vs. the Sky Band one-shot.
The Phantom vs. the Red Dragons one-shot is set to be available in your comic shops beginning June 17, or available online.
