X-Men villain Mojo is the perfect meta villain for this 2026 DC/Marvel crossover event, but Supergirl & Blade have to stop him before he goes too far
DC's Supergirl and Marvel's Blade have been cast in a vampire romance TV series in the latest DC/Marvel crossover comic.

Both Supergirl and Blade have upcoming movies, but before they can reach movie theaters (and our eyeballs!), they have a live-action TV series in the offing... but they might get off'ed in the making of the series, thanks to Mojo.

In many ways, the X-Men villain Mojo is the perfect villain for the current spate of DC & Marvel crossover comics; a deliciously meta TV show tycoon who rules an entire dimension thanks to his saavy (and more than a bit of slavery). In the surprise one-shot Supergirl/Blade releasing tomorrow (that's April 8!) on the DC Go! webcomics platform in the DC Universe Infinite app, Mojo has kidnapped both Supergirl and Blade to star in an "over-the-top vampire romance series." I'd watch that, until I learned the stars were kidnapped to do that... oh yeah, and also real vampires trying to kill them.
"... the Girl of Steel and the Daywalker find themselves trapped on a soundstage where the cameras never stop rolling and the stakes are very real," reads the description for the Supergirl/Blade one-shot. "Forced to battle bloodsucking foes, melodramatic tropes, and Mojo himself, the unlikely duo must team up and fight their way to freedom before the show’s final twist becomes their last."
Supergirl/Blade is being written by CRC Payne (Wayne Family Adventures), with art from the always-luxurious Mikel Janín (Detective Comics) and Hugo Petrus (Justice League Dark), with colors from Marcelo Maiolo and letters from Pat Brosseau.
To read Supergirl/Blade this week, you need a DC Universe Infinite account - but even the free tier lets you get this and many other webtoon-style DC Go! vertical scroll comics. This will be collected in print inside September 8's DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories.
