Follow along live to DC Comics' What's Next panel with Batman and more from Seattle's ECCC 2026

DC brings Absolute, Vertigo, and Next Level to Emerald City Comic Con 2026 with major panel led by Batman editor Rob Levin.

2026 is shaping up to be a blockbuster year for DC Comics, with the thriving new Absolute line, the just-relaunched Vertigo imprint, and a reinvestment in its core line with DC's 'Next Level' initative. And now DC is bringing it to conventions, in its first major appearance at a convention in 2026: Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con. But don't worry, if you can't make it Popverse will be there.

DC's Batman group editor Rob Levin will be leading a wide-ranging conversation Saturday, March 7 beginning at 1:30 P.M. Pacific Time (4:30 PM Eastern!). Creators scheduled to appear are G. Willow Wilson, Denys Cowan, Jason Aaron, Tony Fleecs, Kyle Starks, and Jeph Loeb. In its description of the panel, DC says "join top DC storytellers for a conversation diving deep into DC’s comics, including DC: Next Level, DC Vertigo, DC’s Absolute comic books, and more."

Graeme McMillan

Graeme McMillan: Popverse Editor Graeme McMillan (he/him) has been writing about comics, culture, and comics culture on the internet for close to two decades at this point, which is terrifying to admit. He completely understands if you have problems understanding his accent.
