Babs Tarr can’t wait until you get your hands on Sirens: Love Hurts. The DC Black Label limited series will follow the misadventures of Gotham’s most eligible bachelorettes. Tarr is having the time of her life penciling the comic, mostly because it gives her a chance to work with writer Tini Howard.
“It was pure luck and I’m so psyched to be working with her,” Babs Tarr tells Popverse. “We are two Scorpios, and those are very spicy signs, and this is going to be a very spicy book, so you’ll have to read it and check it out.”
Tarr was asked if Sirens: Love Hurts would be DC’s spiciest book, and while she couldn’t say for sure, she believes it will definitely be a contender. “I don’t know. I hope so. I haven’t read every single Black Label book, but I think it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be flirty. The girls are in different stages of dating, and I get to draw some spicy stuff and DC is paying me for it. I’m so excited. I’m having fun drawing the books, and I think everyone’s going to have a lot of fun reading it.”
