Among manga fans, few series are as storied and exciting as Berserk. When Kentaro Miura passed away in 2021, it was thought that his iconic series would never see completion. We’re still not sure if Miura’s assistants will be able to live up to the impressive legacy of Berserk, but Dark Horse has confirmed that the Berserk Volume 43 release date is coming later this year for English fans.

During a social media post last week, Dark Horse explained that Berserk Volume 43, which collects nine chapters of the series, will be released in English in October 2026. “We can now confirm that volume 43 of Berserk will release later this year on October 27,” the Dark Horse social media post on Instagram confirmed. In addition, they announced that across all copies of the manga, Berserk has sold more than 10 million English copies.

That is a massive achievement considering the intense subject matter of Berserk and the uneven release schedule fans have had to put up with over the years. However, the announcement of Berserk Volume 43’s release date came with a slight downside as there currently aren’t any plans to publish a new volume of the Berserk Deluxe Edition. This is because the most recent one included both Volumes 40 and 41 when it was published in 2023, and Dark Horse intends to return to the practice of having three chapters in each Berserk Deluxe Edition. We’ll have to wait a bit longer before Volume 44 is released.

Berserk Volume 43 is out on October 27, 2026.
