There's a new, gold foil Berserk skate deck... but you have to get in line behind me at San Diego Comic-Con to get it

Berserk’s Skull Knight is getting an ultra-rare SDCC-exclusive skate deck.

The Buster Sword of Kentaro Miura's Berserk is chonky like a skateboard, so the idea that skate decks stylized after Guts and the gang being made — and being a hit — aren't such a stretch.

But now, they're doing one better... three better... or two better, and one best. Check out this SDCC exclusive:

At Comic-Con International: San Diego later on this month, Dark Horse Comics will be debuting a new Berserk 'Skull Knight' skate deck. There will be a standard one, a silver holo (giving it a shiny rainbow effect!), and a gold foil edition, limited to just 200 and exclusive to SDCC. The 'Skull Knight' deck measures 31.87 inches by 8.25 inches, and is made out of 7 plies of 100% American Maple wood; keep that in mind as you think about how you get this from San Diego back home.

(And take pictures if you get pulled aside by airport security because of it.)

Speaking of pictures, here's what the standard version looks like:

This Skull Knight debuted in the 'Golden Age' arc of the long-running Berserk series, which for us Americans would be in Berserk Vol. 9.

The Berserk 'Skull Knight' skate decks will be $100 each. Even the gold foil is only $100, but again only 200 will be available. 199 once I get mine. If they run out, the next best thing is the silver holo, which you can see here:
