Absolute Wonder Woman is crossing over with Absolute Batman this December

Absolute Wonder Woman is becoming the team builder inside DC's Absolute Universe, beginning with Batman.

The Absolute Universe solo books that DC has been doing over the past year have been standalone stories, not entertaining in a shared universe - but that will be changing this December with Absolute Wonder Woman #15 by Kelly Thompson, Hayden Sherman, and Jordie Bellaire, as Batman will (finally be showing up.

"It's going to be absolutely awesome," says Absolute Batman writer Scott Snyder during the DC All In: What's Next panel Thursday at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2025.

According to Snyder, Thompson, Sherman, and Bellaire's Absolute Wonder Woman "inspires" what he and his team are doing in Absolute Batman - and that its the book where the ties between the individual Absolute Universe begins to crop up.

"I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say at this time without getting in trouble…" Thompson wrote on her Substack. "So I’ll just be quiet, but expect some more news soon!"

In some ways, it's like how the Absolute Wonder Woman character herself is someone who likes community and building a tighter-knit group.

"She's always looking to create a sisterhood," says Sherman. "She has a very innate desire to build friendships... she wants people."

This will be concurrent to the Absolute Evil event which sees Absolute versions of DC villains beginning to appear and team-up in the face of this rise of superheroes.

Absolute Wonder Woman #15 goes on sale on December 24.
