Sometimes your real-life college experience doesn't live up to the one you've been dreaming about. This is what happens in upcoming graphic novel Bunt!, when Molly Bauer finds out, on the first day of her freshman year no less, that her full-ride scholarship to her dream school has disappeared.

It's a disaster, but not one that Molly can't address. After finding a loophole in the school's financial aid documents, Molly finds out that if she and nine other students win just one game of softball, they'll get a huge athletic scholarship for their pains. Cue the adventure.

Macmillan's new YA graphic novel Bunt! isn't just highly anticipated because it has a cool sounding premise - it is also particularly exciting because it's a collaboration between Check, Please! creator Ngozi Ukazu and webcomic Sakana creator Mad Rupert. Plus, the art looks incredible too.

If you can't wait until next month to start reading Bunt!, you can get a look at an exclusive excerpt from the graphic novel right now, in the gallery below.

Bunt! hits shelves on February 13, 2024. You can pre-order your copy from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Bookshop.org.
